HOTV Runners Group Events and COVID-19

Heart of the Valley (HOTV) Runners promotes health and well-being for its members and for the greater community. After nearly a year of canceled events due to COVID, we are carefully gathering once again. To help ensure we can continue meeting, and to protect our fellow runners as well as the community at large, HOTV Runners strongly encourages all participants in group runs and other HOTV events to be vaccinated against COVID-19 (except children under 12 or those exempt for medical reasons). We also ask that if you are feeling symptoms of COVID-19 or have been recently exposed to someone that tested positive for COVID-19 that you stay home.

In accordance with state and local mandates, masks should be worn where physical distancing is not possible regardless of vaccination status. Masks should be worn when six feet or more of physical distancing cannot be maintained, such as before and after the race or workout and when socializing. Masks are not required when actively running. Masks will be provided to those that do not have one. HOTV Runners appreciates your adherence to these requirements for helping to ensure a safe environment for all.
