Your club dues pay for some necessities like liability insurance, swag purchases, and up-front costs for putting on events. They also help fund youth running in the elementary schools, support the local schools’ cross country and track field programs, and aid community improvements like trails maintenance. Recent grantees are the Greenbelt Land Trust, Corvallis Elementary PE Teachers for their upcoming K-5 All-City Track Meet, and the Kings Valley Charter School Cross Country Course.

The Community
- Volunteer at one of our local races
- Co-ownership of the Northwest Middle School Cross Country Showdown, an event at Avery Park drawing 600+ runners from 30+ schools
- Support of the Meet of Champions Middle School Track Invite at Corvallis High School
- Staffing the Corvallis Half Marathon registration table
- Presenting the annual, FREE, Resolution Run each January 1
- Presenting the annual Run for the Hills 8K, 1/2 marathon, and 30K trail races
- Hosting the two All-Comers track meets in June
- Presenting the annual Fall Festival Runs on the third Sunday of September.
- Purchase of the light timer at CHS providing lights for early morning track workouts and community events
- Initial installation and maintenance of the porta-potty at Bald Hill Park

The Future
- Continued support of the middle school cross country and track and field programs over the past 13 years at Linus Pauling, Cheldelin, Philomath, and Monroe Middle Schools
- Outreach to elementary school running programs at Adams, Lincoln, and Bessie Coleman
- Purchase of gear and uniforms for the Corvallis, Crescent Valley and Philomath HS programs
- Donations to OSU Research Forests
- Yearly donations to Greenbelt Land Trust
- Donations to Team Dirt trail building efforts.
HOTV Runners Grant Program
The HOTV Runners Grant Program is one of the ways we support and encourage running as a way to improve the health and well-being of our community. These small grants enable schools and other non-profit organizations to build their running programs and purchase much needed equipment and other items.
