Who we are

Heart of the Valley Running Club, founded in 2008, is a diverse group of road and trail runners from in and around Corvallis, Oregon. The Club provides runners with camaraderie and support, as well as various social activities. 

Since 2008, the Club has supported running in Corvallis. Our contributions include:

• The Resolution Run, free to all runners
• Corvallis Half Marathon Training Group
• Run for the Hills 2mi, 8K, Half, and 30K
• Community Track meets
• Fall Festival Run
• ​​Sponsors of the Bald Hill Porta-Potty

Runners of all abilities are welcome - please contact us if you have an interest in running. Many people attend a Thursday evening social run as their first Club run. If you're a morning person, there are plenty of options as well! Consult the calendar on our home page, and our Facebook group for details. Send an e-mail if you have any questions about the club.

Board meetings are held monthly, on the second Monday at 6:00 PM, and are open to the public. Contact Lanny to get the address of the next board meeting.

2025 Board of Directors​

The Heart of the Valley Runners Board of Directors is made up of three officers and up to nine at-large board members.

The Board is elected by the membership at the annual meeting in January and typically meets the second Monday of each month.
